VDM Projects
VDM Projects is a construction and refurbishment firm with a client roster built over 13 years. They approached us to give the business a brand and a website worthy of that reputation.
The Nitty Gritty

VDM had delivered more than £30 million of work for blue-chip property clients, but had no brand to show for it, and a dated, DIY website that undersold it. We built VDM's entire visual language: the logo, the warm orange-and-cream palette, and a type system that pairs an elegant display serif for headlines with a clean, contemporary sans for text, plus a monospaced accent for the finer detail. Together they give VDM a single, coherent identity that matches the work it represents.
We built the site around VDM's own project photography. Each section opens with a large, confident image, framed by white space and unhurried motion, so the projects and the blue-chip client roster sit front and centre. The typography, motion and layout give VDM a presence to match its clients: modern and credible.
Design-led still has to be built properly. Under the surface it's a headless build: a Next.js front end with an editable page-builder on Sanity CMS. VDM can keep the site current themselves as projects complete, without coming back to us for every change. They own all of it outright: the code, the content and the brand. It scores 90 on mobile and 99 on desktop in Google's PageSpeed Insights, so it loads fast on any device.
