Manor Fresh
Manor Fresh sources, selects and packs potatoes and vegetables from its base in Spalding, Lincolnshire, and has done for more than three decades. They came to us for a website with the personality of the business behind it, and one their team could keep running without a developer on standby. We built it headless, on Sanity and Next.js, as a library of content blocks they assemble into pages themselves.
The Nitty Gritty

The site runs on Sanity, with a set of content blocks we designed and built: heroes, statistics, produce ranges, supplier logos, team, testimonials, timelines, video sliders, job listings. Their team stacks those blocks in whatever order a page needs, edits the content in place, and publishes. Nothing about the layout depends on us once a block exists. The front end is Next.js, served fast and rendered for search engines, with images optimised and a sitemap and redirects managed as part of the build. The editing experience is Sanity's; the visitor's is a static-fast site. Splitting the two is the point of going headless.
Manor Fresh is a produce business with people-centred values and a sense of humour, and the site carries it. Illustrated vegetables theme the sections, and headline statistics run with the tongue-in-cheek footnotes the brand is known for. We built the playful parts as controlled options inside the blocks, so the editors reach for personality from a dropdown rather than risk the layout to get it.
The build carries the parts of the business that win trust: a timeline of the company's history, the growers and suppliers it works with, the team behind it, and a careers section with live job listings. Each is a block or a content type of its own, so the story stays current because the people who live it can edit it.
