This project was great to work on as they offered us a blank slate to work with and called for full brand developement followed by everything else they needed to brand the store and market their new business. Greencircle offer Fairtrade and Eco-friendly gifts, clothes and consumables out of a quaint little shop, with imminent plans to branch out into other cities with a chain of stores.
The Greencircle site lays the foundations for an inspirational and friendly web presence designed to not only sell products, but to push the Fairtrade message and allow the team to keep customers up to date with their work with local community projects as well as updates to their product range. The Greencircle logo had to, first and foremost, represent the companies ethical standpoint without crossing over into cheesy territory. The name called for a green and circular icon, however we wanted to say more. The hand is undoubtably nurturing and can be interpreted as protecting the core, be it the Earth, a person or an ideal. We went for a hand made, painted style wherever possible to keep it friendly...and there's a capital G in there too.

From business cards to bags, all printed marketing was produced on Recycled Stock and a natural texture was used to push this message. Supporting fonts and illustration style needed to be defined early on for consistency.
